Kids come first at Club Med

We hear it time and time again from our happy customers; the care and attention we put into catering for the needs of children is one of the things that makes a Club Med family holiday so special.

Children’s Clubs

If over 40 years of delivering tip top family holidays across the globe has taught us anything it’s that toddlers, young children and teenagers each have very different needs, learning styles and environment preferences. That’s why we have pioneered a concept of four different activity clubs.

Babies between the ages of 4 and 23 months get the Baby Club Med treatment with all due attention lavished on them, with a strong emphasis on early learning activities, fresh air and lots of cuddles.

From ages 2 to 3, they’re placed in the safe hands of our Petit Club Med experience, where gentle physical activity such as jumping, rolling, climbing and throwing takes place alongside nursery rhymes, naps and learning exercises tailored around gradual discovery.

At the age of 4 until 10, they graduate to Mini Club Med. Here, their closely supervised adventures stretch to include arts and crafts, watersports, and evening song and dance entertainments which not only aim to enchant them, but also put them at the centre of an immersive and fun learning experience.

Last, but by no means least, comes Junior Club Med, for our guests aged 11 – 17. We respectfully invite them to join us at our Club Med Passworld – a specially designed space where their participation is kept entirely voluntary. Here they can get involved with creative activities like video or music production, expend their energy on supervised outdoor sports or just hang out with their new found friends if they prefer.

Bright Places for Bright Sparks

One recent innovation has been the design of special environments which draw on the local nature and culture of the resort. These are brightly decorated, specially equipped spaces which are bound to appeal to lively, young, questing minds.  At our Sinai Bay resort in Egypt, for example, they’ll get a flavour of what life is like in the Sinai Desert, exploring the Bedouins and spice markets and getting up close and personal with the many varieties of fish that can be found in the Red Sea.

Meanwhile at our Marrakech Le Palmaraie resort in Morocco, they’ll get dressed up as little explorers, all set to discover a mini-riad that tales inspiration from the surrounding landscape of desert caravans, troglodyte caves and medinas.

Winter holidays

If you’re looking into family ski holidays in France then look no further than

our Valmorel resort in the French Alps. For one thing our G.Os here bring you total peace of mind, since they are all required to have a state-approved childcare diploma and an obvious love for working with younger guests. The children’s clubs here stay open all week long, with child-friendly opening hours and clubs designed to meet the very different needs of four different age groups.
